Grape Republic: Rosato 2023

Description

Japanese natural wine from the Grape Republic winery. Year of production: 2023.

This blend of Steuben (red) and Delaware (white) grapes was sourced from the estate in Yamagata in 2023. The wine has a peach and raspberry aroma. This is an exceptionally smooth and light wine with a refined finish that is both pleasant and satisfying. In France, it shares similarities with rosé wines from the Tavel appellation. The product has been aged in stainless steel. The wine is made using indigenous yeasts, and is unfiltered with no additives.

Storing:

Natural wines are best stored at a constant temperature, around 13°C, away from light. Avoid temperature fluctuations if possible. Remember to aerate the wine at least 30 minutes before serving.

Ingredients:

Fermented grape juice, no additives! Grape variety: Steuben, Delaware. 10 degrees alcohol.

Shelf life:

Contrary to popular belief, natural wine keeps very well! However, the very nature of Japanese grape varieties means that they are best drunk young, i.e. within the first 3-4 years.
