Description

Furikake is a blend originally invented to flavor rice. Its basic ingredients are sesame, dried seaweed, bonito flakes, salt and sugar. The result is an irresistible umami flavor that makes you want to take another bite and another, and another… Over time, furikake has opened up to more original combinations and fresher flavors, like this furikake with Sansho pepper.

The Wadaman family has been working with sesame for five generations. Their business began in 1883. Since then, they have continued to provide better and better sesame in all its forms. Wadaman offers this furikake with sesame and sansho pepper. The sesame is grown in Japan, mainly in the Kagoshima prefecture on the island of Kikaijima. And this sesame is organic. It is certified by JAS and recognized by European and American labels.

This 30g bag contains the famous Wadaman sesame of the highest quality and incomparable taste, roasted with organic soy sauce. Sansho berries bring a lemony, woody fragrance that develops on the palate with notes of lemongrass, mint and a spicy sensation. Aosa seaweed, also known as sea lettuce, provides the iodized flavor that blends with the other ingredients to create the special umami of this blend.
