Description
This exquisite oil is made by cooking green onions and ginger in extra-virgin sesame oil, which is then left to infuse for seven days. We love its elegance: on the palate, the delicious flavour of the spring onions gradually yields to the floral notes of the ginger. We also love how light it is: rather than lingering, this oil dissipates quietly, leaving the palate clean. Every bite is like the first.
Use:
We recommend using it with raw vegetables and meat. It is particularly good with tataki and tartares, and for dipping meat that has just been cooked in Chinese or Japanese fondue. It is also delicious with asparagus and leeks. When cooking, just a few drops will transform fried or stir-fried rice and pan-fried fish. We also highly recommend using it with vegetarian sushi, such as kappa maki with cucumber or futomaki with radish.
