Teriyaki Sauce

Description

This high quality sweet teriyaki soy sauce (“shoyu”) is appreciated for its round mouthfeel and rich flavor. Signature of the Hamada Shoyu House, based in the city of Kumamoto (on Kyūshū Island, Japan’s southernmost island) for two centuries and renowned throughout Japan.

Uses:

Usually served with raw fish (sushi and sashimi), sweet soy sauce can also be used to flavor rice, noodles, stir-fried vegetables, and even yogurt! Thicker than classic sweet soy sauces, this “teriyaki” version is perfect for topping yakitori, the traditional small skewers with each bite-sized piece.

Storage:

Glass bottle, store in a cool, dry place away from light and refrigerate after opening.

Sugar, soy sauce (soy, wheat, salt, alcohol, aspergillus oryzae), wine (traces of acidifiers E334 and E296), mirin, corn syrup, monosodium glutamate E621, garlic.
