Description
Tokushima Prefecture is renowned for its citrus fruits, to the extent that the sudachi lime blossom is its official flower. This yuzu syrup lives up to that reputation. Grown in Tokushima’s sunny valleys, which provide an ideal climate, the yuzu fruit is instantly recognisable for its intense flavour. This syrup captures all that intensity without masking the citrus aromas with excessive sugar. There are no artificial flavours or chemical ingredients, only natural products. (The producer of this syrup also offers a cucumber and sudachi lime syrup that we highly recommend.)
Use:
Dilute in still or sparkling water as desired! The official dilution ratio is one part syrup to four or five parts water. This is far too little, though — use seven to eight parts water instead.
Storage:
Store in a dry place at room temperature. Once opened, refrigerate.
Ingredients:
Sugar, yuzu juice and apple vinegar made from apple juice.
Shelf life:
12 months.
