Description
Just almonds coated in a sweet matcha tea preparation from Uji (a town in Kyoto Prefecture). But you won’t believe how crunchy they are, both to the eye and to the palate.
The toasted notes of the almond blend well with the freshness of the matcha, which has all the flavors of concentrated matcha: fatty herbs and mangetout peas, the hint of bitterness we love, and umami to make the pleasure last.
The pleasure is also visual: nonchalantly placed in a bowl, these green balls intrigue: are they precious stones, modeling clay, or fruit that fell from an unknown tree? All you have to do is reach out and take a closer look.
Also available in a hojicha version.
Use:
These coated almonds are eaten like a delicacy, so it goes without saying that moderation is not an option. These crunchy, sweet little green balls are so addictive, you’ll want to try them twice. They’re the perfect accompaniment to a green tea snack (matcha for concordance, otherwise sencha or hojicha).
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and in an airtight container after opening.
Ingredients:
Almonds, sugar, vegetable fats and oils (palm oil and canola oil), matcha (contains traces of almonds and soybeans).
