Description
This classic Japanese snack made with Hokuriko mochi rice and Kombu seaweed has been around for over 50 years. Crunchy at the start, melt-in-your-mouth at the end, it’s a big hit. For the record, Beaver cookies are a tribute to the mascot on the Canadian booth at the Osaka World Expo in 1970. They are said to resemble the teeth of the mascot in question… Which was, of course, a beaver.
