Description

The pinnacle of Japanese rice is the Koshihikari variety. Developed in 1956, Koshihikari has become the most popular and widely grown rice in Japan. Its quality is exceptional, with short, shiny grains. It offers a wonderful, smooth taste experience, with a flavor that changes according to the terroir in which it grows.

Agri Yamazaki produces this top variety on the banks of the Linuma River in southern Ibaraki Prefecture. These farmers are committed to harvesting high-quality rice while respecting the earth. In this one-kilo bag, you’ll find bright grains that hold up perfectly to cooking and can be enjoyed both hot and cold without losing their smooth chewiness. It is ideal for dishes such as sushi, onigiri or donburi.

The high flavor value of this rice makes all the difference, and once you try it, you’ll find it hard to go back. The packaging is also beautiful, with a painting of a rice field in the middle of the rising sun.
