Yuzu Juice, nothing but Yuzu Juice, unpasteurized to preserve all the freshness and long finish of this very special fruit.
Originating in East Asia, yuzu is a citrus fruit that looks very similar to a lemon, but differs in its subtle fragrance and characteristic bitterness, somewhere between a mandarin orange and a lemon.
Ogon no Mura (literally “the golden village”) produces this juice in Tokushima Prefecture on the island of Shikoku, using fruit grown in the village of Kito, which guarantees its quality. It is sold on its own or added to sauces, syrups, drinks and jams to give them their inimitable flavor.
The Yuzus are pressed by hand the day after they are picked and the cold chain is respected from beginning to end, making this juice an exceptional product.
Available in 100ml and 200ml.
How to use:
Drink as is, well chilled and diluted with water, for a thirst-quenching, tangy moment. This yuzu juice is also ideal in sauces (ponzu style) to accompany raw or cooked fish, in the preparation of sweet tarts as well as in seasoning fruit salads.
Storage:
Once opened, store in the refrigerator in a glass bottle. Protect from light before opening.
