Komikan

The Komikan, a unique Japanese citrus fruit, is prized for its small size (the smallest of the Mikan) and delicious flavour. Native to Miyazaki Prefecture, this mini mandarin, also known as ‘Citrus poonensis’, is a must for citrus lovers.

Perfect for eating fresh, Komikan also lends itself to a variety of recipes: desserts, fruit salads or simply squeezed into juice to quench your thirst. It can also be found in certain spirit recipes, such as the famous Komasa Gin.
