Unlike traditional shouyu, this soy sauce contains 90% wheat and 10% soy. The result: a smooth, round sauce with a subtle color.
Use:
With its spectacular umami power, white soy sauce is perfect for seasoning udon or somen broths. It also goes well with eggs or pudding. You can also add it to your sauces or vinaigrettes. The advantage of white soy sauce is that it won’t color your food, unlike classic soy sauce.
Storage:
Keep in a cool, dry place and refrigerate after opening.
